Teams Looking for Second Drivers!

10.22.2004 - Just as their are team spots still open, some teams are looking for second drivers to complete their line up for the 2005 season. "I'd really like to find a second driver so that our team can gain the most possible points available to us." says Lonnie King, Porsche Team owner and Driver. Jack Basford, Team owner and driver of Clownpaint F1, is also looking for a second driver. "Im willing to accept anyone, as long as they arent using a keyboard, just so we can be competitive." Said Basford.

With months before the inagural season gets underway, their is still plenty of time to find second drivers. But as long as their are team spots to be filled, however, it could be tought for teams to fill those seats. "The teams that will benefit are those teams that have their two drivers when the season start." said Lonnie King "Afterall it is all about the points and those left behind, with one driver, won't be able to be as competetive when it comes to the Constructors Title."

Inspiring drivers are encouraged to visit the Teams and Drivers Page to contact team owners about a possible ride for those teams with available seats. WSRC President, Lonnie King, says, "Not everyone wants to start their own team. Some drivers would rather find a seat with an existing team. There is less to deal with that way."
